2022 is the chapter where the hunt became a dynasty. Back-to-back national titles had not been done since Alabama in 2011-2012; Georgia's 2021-2022 double was the first back-to-back by a non-Alabama program in the CFP era. The 65-7 title game is the data point the program will cite for decades — a championship that was not contested, in a format that usually does.
