Privacy Policy

No cookies. No accounts. No tracking.

CFB Zeitgeist is a read-only reference site. It does not collect personal information, set cookies, or require any account to use.

What we collect

Nothing you'd call personal. When you visit this site, standard web server logs are generated — your approximate location (country/region), browser type, and which pages you viewed. This is the same data any web server records. We use Vercel Analytics, a server-side analytics tool, to aggregate these logs into page-view counts and traffic patterns. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies, does not fingerprint browsers, and does not track you across other sites.

We do not collect your name, email address, IP address in identifiable form, or any other personally identifiable information.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies. No consent banner is shown because none is needed.

If we add analytics tools that use cookies in the future (such as Google Analytics), this policy will be updated and a cookie notice will be added before those tools go live.

Data we display

CFB Zeitgeist displays publicly available data from several sources:

  • College Football Data (CFBD) — schedules, results, rosters, and ratings. Public API.
  • Polymarket — public prediction market odds for CFB outcomes.
  • Reddit — publicly posted fan discussion from college football subreddits. No private messages or non-public content is accessed.
  • ESPN — public player identity data accessed via keyless public endpoints.

Player names, stats, and school affiliations are factual public information used in an editorial context. No endorsement by any player or institution is claimed.

Third-party services

This site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel's infrastructure processes web requests and serves pages. Vercel's own privacy policy applies to that processing.

No advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or data brokers are used.

Changes to this policy

If material changes are made — for example, adding cookie-based analytics — this page will be updated before those changes take effect. The page title will reflect the date of the most recent update.

Last updated: June 2026.
