DII CONFERENCE · 2025 SEASON
Pennsylvania State Athletic
THE LONG WAIT · 2025
Pennsylvania Football at DII
The PSAC is the largest DII conference by enrollment and the one with the most NFL draft picks per decade. Indiana (PA) has won four DII national championships. West Chester has appeared in Super Region championship games. Slippery Rock, Shippensburg, California (PA), and Kutztown all produce NFL players from small Pennsylvania state universities. The PSAC is where the Pennsylvania high school football tradition — one of the deepest in the country — lands at the DII level, and the competition is relentlessly physical.
Indiana (PA) and West Chester have traded PSAC titles for a decade. Does Slippery Rock or Bloomsburg emerge in 2026, or does the two-program structure continue to define the conference?
